This is a special appeal to help mainly 'Ulamā (scholars) and their families in West Bengal and Bihar, India.
WellWishers will be sending a team of volunteers to hand deliver food packs to poor families in poor regions of West Bengal and Bihar in the 1st week after Ramaḍān, inshā Allāh.
Please donate in this blessed month and your kind contributions will be delivered by hand to poor and needy 'Ulamā and their families in West Bengal and Bihar.
Priority will be given to 'Ulamā. If there are any leftover packs, these will be distributed to other poor and needy Muslim families.
Each pack of £100 will consist of a food pack containing essential food items to feed a large family for at least 1-2 months plus a cash grant to help them with their basic needs such as bills, fees, costs, medicine, treatment, etc.
We are aiming to raise £20,000 for a total of 200 packs to help 200 needy families of mostly 'Ulamā.
Each pack will contain essential items such as oil, rice, flour, lentils, etc.
